When they switched over to Pluck, it was ridiculously slow as well. While Pluck is still a slow system, it eventually got quite a bit better. I would imagine the speed will increase with time with the new board as well.

It was always slow as hell for me. Even after the exodus.

Same here, hence why I pretty much left there for here.

Plus that navigation sucked.

I've actually had no problems there at all. My post count has reverted to zero(as has everyone's), but it's nice that my join date now shows 2003 instead of just last year. Good to see private messages and go to last post finally restored.
I'm not so sure it's a good idea to remove all the old Talk@ forum, especially not telling the members in advance. I expect it'll be restored shortly.
Looks like the Imaginova have finally woken up to the fact that Newsarama was dying. Is it too late, though?

I've never really left either forum!
(However, I sincerely doubt I'll ever reach 16,000 posts on ANY forum ever again!)

In the time you posted that here you could have just gone to your user control panel and changed the incorrect information! :P

Undoubtedly.
What I really meant to ask was whether it was too late for Newsarama to regain all the popularity and goodwill it had built up over the years?
