Well, they used to be. However, the current generation is filled with socialites, attention whores, and ne'er do wells, who have tainted the family name. Shameful really. :smt011

I thought Johns was all over the GL movie. He was listed as a consultant.

Hopefully he's not involved with this.

You are correct - Geoff Johns was co-producer and creative consultant. I'm surprised he didn't get a writing credit - Parallax & the daddy issues are all out of GJ's shitbag.

I'm super-excited for this film. It has a great cast and looks like we're finally getting action. :smt026

I would like to see a movie where aliens show up and threaten to take over the planet and we pretty much go "You're right - we suck at this. Here, take over and fix it!"

The only real thing I'm apprehensive about is the lack of John Williams.

I'm sure Zimmer's score is very good, but.....

The trailers and the recent prequel comic are not really impressing me.

I hope to be impressed with it. A good impression. But I suspect that this is the dog of the pack for us this summer.

I know, the first couple notes played and I wanted to scream, FINISH IT!

Right?! I wouldn't have even thought about it if those first couple of notes wouldn't have been so damn similar.

This. I've been having doubts about Man of Steel until the newest trailer came out. I'm not exactly a big Superman fan, but I do like a good superhero movie. Don't fuck it up, DC/Warner Brothers!
