Zero wrote:It's a well written comic, and obviously gorgeous to look at but it's got the Hickman thing where it provides only mysteries with no real clues as to what is going on. I enjoyed it, but it's a weird choice for an FCBD issue.

I think this is the problem I'm having with Hickman's work on Avengers. I've sort of enjoyed it, but constantly confused by it because it's not always adding up for me, maybe this is why. I have no idea what is going on in his book other than the loosest notion after almost ten issues. I keep hoping there is something that will tie it all together.

Liked issue #11 definetly a different feel from the usual neo-cosmic stuff Hickman has been doing. But it feels connected to the whole as it seems
[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
]A.I.M. and a bunch of other groups are trying to procure what is possibly connected to the Earth's new reproductive system.

Also what Natasha does is totally whack, but not out of character for a spy.

And Carol looks hot! First time since the second issue that new hairstyle rocks.

This issue was cool, but I can't wait for the return to the Savage Land. I'll probably be having "Comfy in Nautica: going through my head on full force for that one.

Oh yeah, Avengers #12 in the Savage Land! Not a lot of action, though Thor's interactions with Hyperion were interesting. Can't wait for next ish when Terminusshows up.

Yeah lots of chit chat in this issue.

Didn't realize the high evolutionary was still alive.

 @ Hawkeye trying to get in on some Spider-Woman action.

i loved seeing the high evolutionary, i think the last time i saw him was during the Endangered Species arc when Beast went looking for help bring back the mutant race.

I've never been too crazy about him. He's always seemed like one of those characters who are less important that they're made out to be. I'd put a lot of Marvel Cosmic-with-a-capital "C" characters in that category. (Most of the Elders of the Universe, Great Tribunal, In-Betweener, etc.)

I have to say, I don't know what the hell is going on in Avengers overall.

I mostly enjoy the issues individually, but it feels like each issue he is starting a new arc that he never finishes.

That's pretty much how Hickman rolls. Are you familiar with his Fantastic Four or Secret Warriors?

Well right now he's showing the the effects of the Origin Bombs on the Earth. First in Croatia, then in Canada, then (apparently) The ninjas who got a hold of the something the Origin Bomb spawned in Japan (Chimera, probably), now this issue in the Savage Land.

Never got into him visually. The purple armor's kinda boring to me.
