With the exception of Bubba's Top Lists, all lists are stupid and should be ignored. You people should know this already.

I'm not a fan of Spawn but he certainly belongs on the list.

Or reading this are they are choosing the best versions of the characters or who created them? Ostrander might have created Oracle but I don't know anyone who say he wrote the best version of her. I'd say people would choose Gail Simone or maybe Chuck Dixon.

"instead of listing the generic characters, we specify which version of each hero stands above the rest."

No top 5 worst list is legit without an Extreme Studios mention.

I think so. An African American comic book character that went mainstream. That's kind of a big deal to some.

And even if you are gonna list the Hulk, how you put Lee/Kirby on there ahead of PAD is unfathomable.

That's kinda what I'm talking about though. This list was hastily created by arbitrarily throwing names onto a page in order to give the overall appearance of credibility. If you want to throw a character onto this list because of their race why not throw out Blade? Blade arguably did more for bringing a minority character into the mainstream than Spawn did.
