It wasn't anything special, but I enjoyed it. :smt102

It was enjoyable but in a predictable no motivation for any characters and having to wrap everything into a bow kind of way.

Secret Warriors is a fantastic book. Some of the best new character work that's been done by Marvel since Runaways.

Not really, it does draw on old Steranko Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. as inspiration, but, is not required to get it.

Hickman writes a better Fury than anyone I've read in years.

Agree and disagree. The book is fantastic, but outside of Phobos and maybe Druid, Hickman never made me care at all about the new kids. Hell I still don't think I know half of them's names, and I read the whole damn series. It was Fury's book through and through, as it damn well should've been

Yeah I felt bad for Druid when Nick booted his ass of the team.

Druid
Yoyo
Quake
Hellfire
Phobos
Stonewall?

Phobos was awesome, but, I always liked Hellfire, even at the end.

I actually like most of the Secret Warriors cast but not Quake. Like most of Bendis' additions to the Marvel Universe prior to his current X-Men work, I just never found her that interesting. :smt102

For you, I'd say yes.

It gets frustrating but it's nothing you can't navigate through.

Can anybody weigh in on recent Venom adventures? I love the character after Remender's strong run, but really didn't like Bunn's first few Philly stories. It'd be great if the book were readable again.
