This year was actually my first year going. It was definitely worth it. If you live in AZ I seriously recommend you check it out next year for sure. I only went one of the four days, and I can guarantee that there was a ton of stuff that I didn't get to see.

I went like five years ago before it got as big as it is. It was fun but it there wasn't a lot of stuff. I did get like the first year of Jonah Hex signed.

Yeah, I don’t buy into this Hellfire Club.

Keb wrote:Nah they released the less hyped Marvel NOW series direct to paperback where's they bigger hyped titles got the premiere hardcover treatment.

Thor, hulk, avengers, those titles will come out in premiere hardcover and then six months later in paperback. Thunderbolts, fearless defenders, Deadpool, etc will be in paperback first.

With F4/FF they combined the first 3 issues of each series into the first volume of Fantastic Four.

I thought the rule was 2.99 title = tpb, 3.99 title = HC.

Not really. A+X and Superior Spider-Man are TPB first but $3.99 cover. Young Avengers is coming out in HC first, even though it's $2.99.

Oh, so there are no rules in the world. I knew that. I just couldn't believe it.

There is no rhyme or reason with some of these. Daredevil got the PHC, then the trade, and then the OHC. :smt102

Marceline and the Vampire Queens TP – Really fun, and the message at the end, like with old cartoons made me smile. Not as many funny moments as the regular Adventure Time series.

Each issue had it’s own back up story. They were all fun and it was cool seeing artist use their own style on them.

In the back of the trade they collect all the covers. And this mini had an excess of variant covers, 30+.

That's why I'm just buying in trade.

Plus, TPBs are more available and I don't know what my cash flow is going to look like this fall.

That's kind of how The Amazing Arizona Comic Con they had earlier this year was. It was super tiny and not a whole lot to look at.
