A co-worker gave me a copy of The Doomsday Book to read but I haven't started it yet.

Right now I'm working on Confessions of a D-List Supervillain.

Doing the audio book thing lately.

The Casual Vacancy - Not bad but not what I expected
Dresden Files (Small Favor) - Great read
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (Book behind Blade Runner) - Not impressed

Trying the anthology "Home Improvement: The Undead Edition" and then more Jim Butcher fun!

Moonlight Mile by Lehane.

Strong plotting; bad prose.

Just finished NOS4A2

Did a review: http://www.theouthousers.com/index.php/ ... -hill.html

Chris, Zero, anyone else that read it should add your two cents, I'm not a big King/Hill reader, so the more opinions the merrier.

This was fantastic. I think the io9 blurb about this series describes it best -- it is the closest to a hollywood blockbuster you will find in books. I think it was meant to be a trilogy, but it is left sort of open-ended and I would love for them to return to this world for more books, even if they're standalone.

All three books were great, and The Expanse now ranks up there as one of my favorite book series' to date.

I'm still reading the second volume and really enjoying it. My one criticism is that it feels like basically the same story as the first book with an expanded cast. I'm guessing the ending will be different. In any event it's a great story with fantastic characters.

The Home Improvement anthology... was okay. A couple of stories were good but most (including the Sookie Stackhouse one) kinda blew chunks.

Just finished (again) Changes and I'm working on book 4 of the Codex Alera.

Yesterday I reread Ringworld by Larry Niven and today I read Cider With Roadies by Stuart Maconie. It'll be I Am Legend tomorrow.
