I don't buy trades and certainly would not prop up this main course of travesty in the hopes of getting a few crumbs of quality to fall off the table.
- Continuity is or it is not. There is no such thing as soft continuity.
- A character IS his continuity.
- Continuity is consistency of the characteristics of people, plot, objects, and places seen by the reader or viewer.

Haven't bought a single new comic book since the DCnWho? started.

Love the back issue bins though.

Trades are the future.
Look up the teachings of onemoment (a.k.a. Juan Momento). He was gone too soon, but at least his wisdom remains.

Eh, digital is the future.

I'll stick to the back issue bins until the DCU is restored.

Digital is only a delivery method - I'm talking about format.

I doubt the creative teams in place now would be able to stay consistent enough to actually get a trade completed in one shot.

Not to mention, they can barely keep things consistent now. Imagine how bad it would be if continuity came out in trade sized chunks.

Continuity as its own story or continuity within the same story?

Continuity with a story and within the shared universe's story.

C'mon "Spektre". Just admit that you're really one of our more vocal existing posters who just happens to be a Herald fan

I guess anyone who has their own opinion or complains about something is automatically compared to Herald. Go figure.

Okay, I have only read the first chapter of the Hawkeye trade (I was lucky to sneak that much time in the shitter), but
 HOLY FUCKING SHIT  :band :smt063
That may have been the best single issue of a comic that I've read in years. It was so damn hilarious and a bit touching (loyal dog + hurt = heartstrings!). I thought the 'bro's you guys were throwing around was frat-douche-speak; I didn't realize it was SlavicEurotrashTracksuit-speak. HILARIOUS.

I can't wait to read the rest of this book.
