EoW 3, like 1 and 2, was awesome. And actually finally began to give me an idea of just what the hell the book is about. :-D

Very exposition-heavy pages, too. Let me know what you think.

I'm just not that into East Of West, I'm afraid. And I REALLY love Manhattan Projects, the new preview...wow...

The next issue of Manhattan Projects might be my favorite of the bunch.

Yeah I just finished it. It was pretty meh but a meh Astro City is better than Age of Ultron condensed to 1 issue which it probably could be. I've also never really liked the first issues of any astro city though.

Maybe you're right, I did feel a little underwhelmed by it. Only time will tell. Part of me wonders if Astro City will remain relevant. It didn't really start out of the gate strong this time, if I never found out what happened after issue 1 I don't think I'd wonder much. But you gotta give Kurt Busiek a little more credit, I suppose..

WTF is this rank?

I actually bought Astro City, my first comic in a long time. Nothing Earth shattering (although American Chibiis creepy as hell), but an interesting start. I actually liked the fourth wall breaking aspect of the narrative.

I was going to buy Astro City but I got to the store, realized it was 4 bucks, and that I'd have to pay like 24 bucks for 6 issues and decided to get the trade on Amazon. If one ever comes out, still no trade for Shining Stars.
