As a book reader I'm glad they left it out, but I can see why people who never read the book would feel that it was too easy.

Thing is, season 1, things weren't easy for her. Remember her eating a horse heart, and being forced into marriage with a savage, and being abused by her brother. Or last season which was nothing but failure? Things are going well for her for now, but after 2 straight seasons of failure.

I remember things like Daenerys having a woman bound to a funeral pyre and burning her alive, after the woman understandably chose to take revenge against Drogo for leading the Dothraki to pillage her village, rape her and her people, and attempt to sell them into slavery. :smt102 The only real adversity that she has received since has been either from her lack of any real leadership skills or from people who won't just bow down and give her whatever her heart desires.

I'll give you the fact that Daenerys didn't exactly have it easy for the first two episodes at the beginning of the first season but after she learned how to take control of Drogo, she has had it pretty easy compared to the rest of the cast.

but the reunion between Cersei and Jamie as I remember it was a moment of carnal passion in a church, kinda of disgusting. I'll take this thank you.

Agreed.

That's one thing I keep wondering with the show, where she could get the supplies to feed an army+ that size on the move.

Especially when you consider how hostile the environment surrounding Astapor and Yunkai seems. It doesn't look like vegetation or wildlife is exactly plentiful in the area.

She has the supplies she took when she razed that first slave city.

And she has her soldiers scouring the country side for me, and takes more from the towns like Yunkai as well.

It's still not enough, it might become an issue next season.

I assume it hasn't been mentioned because most people don't really think about that stuff

In the books, Jaime doesn't return to King's Landing until after Joffrey's Wedding, so things have been moved around and changed.

Well, seems like it was addressed in the book...
