It's funny imagining him putting on bike shorts and shoes in the morning with those ridiculous-looking arms.

WHO designed this, so I might forever scorn them?

Also, when the new52 started, didn't DC make a big deal out of saying it wasn't just to retell all the same stories again, yet they keep making a huge deal out of re-introducing all these characters - essentially retelling how they get introduced into the DC world. Not to mention we are getting Zero Year right now, which is retelling of Batman's year one just in the new52. Not that I hate the story, but they are doing exactly what I knew they would with the relaunch.

At least you knew they were lying. Makes this drek somewhat easier to suffer through

The first year I think Snyder and others on GL felt they weren't retelling things. That this was just a continuation of their previous run. It was only after Zero Year did the changes and retelling continue.

Continuity is still fucked up to high heaven. Basically I'm with John Layman's or whomever the hell said it best with current DC continuity: "The stuff you read is still in continuity. Fuck what we say."

Of course this makes things difficult when I like characters like Wally West, Tim Drake, Jade, and Cassandra Cain since they don't freaking exist any longer. :smt017

Just look at it like an old VHS tape that originally had something important on it, like a graduation or wedding. Now imagine that one of your idiot relatives go a hold of that tape and taped over it with an episode of Duck Dynasty, Keeping up the Kardashians, or some other such nonsense. That's what happened to the DCU. :P

And just like that after finding this out I will unleash a blood curling scream of pure rage directed at the idiot who thought reinventing the wheel meant making it more EXTREME plus add a high collar to it.
