They look REALLY similar to today's versions. Almost identical, even.

What are the odds of that?

Exactly what I was thinking, either they're totally retro or very little has changed in 1000 years.

These are actually quite bold for the future. We know for a fact that future societies dress entirely in silver bodysuits. And occasionally togas.

That, or as many things DC has done since Nu52, it started as Justice Legion, and morphed into this.

Considering that Giffen hasn't done a single think I've liked in the fast thirty years since he came back from his "vacation" in 1983 and started sucking, I'm not holding my breath.

You need to read more then, he wrote the best event comic that either company has put out in at least a decade.
