I had this, and so many other cool toys.

Too bad they got all burned up. :-(

One of the first movies I ever went out on my own to see. Loved it.

It really should be released on DVD/BluRay.

This all could have been about Idris Elba &/or Scarlett Johansson

I wish I had one. Talk about something NECA or some indy company should bring back.

I think the movie holds up incredibly well, actually, especially in comparison to the Disney fare of the '90s.

It does, I just saw it a couple of years ago for the first time and I liked it!

via Dark Horizons & ET Online
"Tron: Legacy" and "Oblivion" director Joseph Kosinski recently spoke with "Entertainment Tonight" about the two Disney projects he's attached to - a third "Tron" feature, and the remake of The Black Hole".

"Both projects are being written right now by two really talented writers. Jon Spaihts is writing Black Hole and Jesse Wigutow is writing TRON 3. Both scripts are in progress, I'm really excited about both.

The fundamental ideas of both are really interesting. The TRON sequel kind of takes where we left off with 'Legacy,' that idea presented in the last few minutes of the film and really expands on it in a really exciting way."

He adds that he would call "The Black Hole" a reboot rather than a remake as: "the fundamental concept is there but we are taking it in our own direction."
I'm optimistic about a Black Hole reboot.
I'm up for a third TRON as well!

I'm all for a reboot, but I would hope they continue to use practical effects for the robots and no CGI bullshit.

Absolutely agree! I love models and animatronics, and it would be great to see how dingy/beat-up they could make a 'new B.O.B. look.

I'm of the same opinion with the new Jurassic Park movie, the technology still exists and it holds up from that original movie. You can build these things to interact with in real life, so just do it. The audience will respond appropriately.
