I don't love him. I don't hate him, but he is no Richard Pryor or Eddie Murphy or Redd Foxx or Bill Cosby or that fat black guy in all those movies like the first Transformers.

Eddie Murphy is the KING! Yet to be surpassed when it comes to stand up, Pryor is a close second but I got no love for Cosby.

Too bad Eddie can't do his act anymore... :smt011

I prefer Pryor. And I love Cosby from his older stuff. But to each their own.

I watched Omit the Logic last weekend, jeebus it was sad. Pryor was a little bit before my time so I knew the broad strokes of his life but I didn't really know all the details. He bared it all on stage though, I think Murphy is lighter but Pryor is poignant and probably more likeable.

Age can be the difference. I'm... old... and came up with Cosby, Redd Foxx and Pryor. Pryor to me as Carlin. He does more then make you laugh, he makes you think and feel. Murphy was the perfect smart mouth of the 80s. For me in the 70s, Pryor was the comedy act I almost had to hide from the folks to watch or listen to.

Yeah I can't believe I missed that thread.

FEL, why can't you argue about Superman's continuity like a regular lunatic? :P

Then you've come to the right place!

The fact that you haven't been banned, returned as an alias and been banned fifteen more times since, proves that we mean what we say.

You have a point, up to a point. :)

Think of it like the IRS. How many times do they actually have to break down a door, guns-a-blazin' to make sure everyone pays their taxes?

I'd better go get that alt ready. :smt102

Yep, and Robert Vaughn as Luthor-lite. And Annette O'Toole showing why Clark has always been an idiot going after Lois instead of Lana. :smt011

I miss Spider-Rob. He could kill a Saturday afternoon with his shenanigans with Neito and others with such ease. Should go for the two-four.
