When I was younger I had all the time in the world but less cash for comics. (Of course, comics were a LOT cheaper back then.) Now I'm a gainfully employed adult (and a parent) with enough cash to but comics but no time to read them. My plan is just to acquire a bunch to read in retirement in 25 years or so.

Totally understand that. My problem an since cut back to about 50 books a month was that i was over buying and soon id run out of space to keep them all.

For the first time in years I'm having that problem: I'm running out of space.

And one more time: my campaign is about to reach its conclusion (1 day left). You can still make a contribution here: http://igg.me/p/413732/x/3203177

LOL as I've said before I've let myself get very behind with my books. I'm currently reading the DC books that came out back in Jan. I try to make sure I've got a month's worth completed before the next box shows up so its a steady 4 month gap. Doesn't always happen.

LOL and as my friend regularly tell me "You're not doing anything, why don't you just read through the stuff faster?" And the answer is "I don't want to." Now I don't want to always be this far behind, but I don't want to rush through the reading and possibly miss anything. LOL Not to mention keeping up with all the comic news and what not via the Internet will keep you busy as well. Just wait till SDCC week! Not to mention when I finish a stack of comics, I try to then read one regular book afterwards. Depending on the story, that could take a while. I think after I finish the DC stuff, I'm going to read the new Castle novel. We'll see.

So various reasons as to how long it takes me and why.

Oh and I'm already crying as usual with the new Previews. Thank DCBS for the Villains bundle. But the month is really brutal. Oni puts out 4 GN's in one month? Yeesh!

Well, I usually get between 10 to 15 comics tops, and I try to make them last as long as possible. Even so it only takes me a few days to finish reading them.

I'd go crazy with such a huge amount of comics.

I suggest entirely skipping the Villains month promotion. Those stories can't possible matter for continuity purposes, can they? If they're awesome, wait for the Omnibus or trades.

Problem solved! You'll catch right up. :)
