Transformers Prime actually isn't that bad. I let the ep's pile up on my PC without watching them because I felt Darkness Rising was mediocre.

Besides the annoying humans it's actually decent and the closest to the Beast Wars quality I've seen yet.

I liked Raphael. The other two were pretty annoying.

I have watched all of the eps available on Netflix. I really wish it was possible to open up the cast a little more (like, maybe Wheeljack wouldn't just disappear all the time and more than just him and Smokescreen would show up as reinforcements) but I understand that computer animation still isn't cheap. I like the character designs. I like the characters.

I still prefer Transformers Animated. :)

Wasn't a fan of animated personally. Seemed like they were trying to reinvent the wheel at times with the rookie Optimus. Animation never clicked for me either.

I just saw the conclusion of season 1...that was an interesting twist.

Now you're just in time to see it end, since there's only a few episodes left of the final (third) season. :-(
"Why are you pointing your screwdrivers like that? They're scientific instruments, not water pistols."
"Oh, the pointing again! They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do? Assemble a cabinet at them?"
"Are you capable of speaking without flapping your hands about?"
""Timey" what? "Timey wimey"?"

There's still the movie they have yet to air which in itself is three more episodes. Though two episodes left of the final season though.

The comic is pretty neat, actually. Art by Don Figueroa before he went all movie-verse with the TF designs. Megatron as a good guy. Optimus as a bad guy. Cliffjumper as the main character. It's a Fun Publication book originally released for Botcon with a corresponding Botcon toyline. Nothing essential here but if you enjoy evil mirror universes (and who doesn't?) then it's probably a comic you'd like to read.

If you can find it. Like Fieldy said, it's rare. Very rare. The wide release will look like this:

Oh that's the Transformers Club guys right (Fun Publications)?

Yeesh good luck. I see the collectors magazines here and there but don't remember seeing that on the stands. Can look the next time I go if I remember...

Yug. I don;t like the character designs from TP. They should be used as TP.

Though that would hurt.

I look forward to the movie, but I really want this series to go for three or more seasons extra. :-(

I wish that stuff could be collected and reprinted by IDW, like the Marvel and Dreamwave stuff.

Soundwave always seems to come out of nowhere with cool moments. Like the fight against Airachnid.

Give Zechs a tissue

Jon M. Chu Likes the Idea of a G. I. Joe/Transformers Crossover Movie

Director Jon M. Chu recently had a chat with Collider about his upcoming project; G. I. Joe 3. At the interview, the director of G. I. Joe: Retaliation expressed his interest in directing a G. I. Joe/Transformers Crossover.

"[Jokingly] I got to get rid of Michael Bay first" said Mr. Chu. "We got to get there. We got to evolve to something like that. I would love to. As a kid I would combine my toys. If the realities of their worlds match, I think you are okay to do that. I'd love to. I'd be totally ok to do something like that"

Rumors For The Next Transformers Animated Series Surfaces?

member Potato of Sister Site Tokunation is bringing us some tidbits. You guys can take it under Rumor category for the moment though… but this is what we know so far:

• The next series will go back to 2D roots.
• Will be aimed more towards little kids.
• It will be lot closer to the feel of Transformers: Rescue Bots rather than Transformers: Prime.
• Same character designer from Transformers: Prime is working for the next series but the designs are simpler.
• Same writers from TFP will return for the next series (This info was proven correct not too long ago).

Rescue bots are cute, but Transformers are not cute.
