Marvel Shocker: Shocking Avengers Arena Spoilers Shock Readers (SPOILERS)

This week's issue of Avengers Arena has LEAKED! Want to be SHOCKED by what happens?! SPOILERS!

Source: 4chan

Dennis Hopeless, a supernatural creature who sustains himself by drinking the tears of Tumblr users, has been shocking readers of his Marvel comic book, Avengers Arena, for eleven issues now. Fans were extremely upset at the previous issue, in which fan favorite Runaway Nico was apparently killed. Well, worry not, Nico fans, because in Avengers Arena #12, which leaked all over 4chan today, Nico is seen to come back to life via a sort of death rattle spell, which causes her to wreak havoc on that mean old Apex and her cyborg minions, Chasehawk and Death Locket. Nico sends Apex and Death Locket underground with a spell, where the pair uncover what appears to be a sort of morgue underneath Murderworld. On one of the tables in the morgue is Mettle, the first character to be killed in Avengers Arena... but he appears to be a robot!

Like, OMG, people. I am getting mad feels right now. Are you telling me that Avengers Arena is not really killing off all of these fan favorite Marvel teen characters? Who could possibly have seen that coming?!

Oh yeah, fucking everyone. Well, it'll be nice to see the "these stories don't matter because no one really dies" complainers take the stage for a little while, as we've had enough of the "how can you kill my favorite teen characters you cruel meanies" people for the time being. It should be noted that there WERE two bodies on the tables that did appear to be real, so I guess less popular characters CAN die in the series.

Avengers Arena #12 will be in stores on Wednesday.

And Marvel, you wouldn't give The Outhouse review copies for years (back when we still bothered asking), but you've obviously got a leak, don't you. Maybe you should have been more selective with everyone. This shit happens every week. Why don't you look into that? Can't be that hard to track down.

No that's a wrong news. I saw it too. Either all corpses are clones/robots. Or all of them are real(Mettle was once mentioned may having a mechanical body). My guess is that they are all clones and the real ones are being forced to watch the game.

Find it hard to believe they're all robots when we've seen some characters get well and truly fucked up with copious amounts of blood like Kid Briton losing his head or Nico with protruding bones after falling down a cliff etc.

Think you rushed on reporting this Jude.

Nico coming back makes sense since the Staff of One feeds off of her blood

Just read it for myself:

[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
Arcade Confirmed that Nico is real.
Now we know where ChisHawk has been all this time.
Kid Briton is def decapitated bnut his head has been jarred.
Maybe the Mettle we saw in #1 was a fakeout to get Hazmat and others willing to kill.
The central body.....that's a new character we never saw isn't it? That looks like a potentially big twist.

I pointed out in the article that there were real bodies on the table:

It should be noted that there WERE two bodies on the tables that did appear to be real, so I guess less popular characters CAN die in the series.

I never said they were all robots. I just said that apparently the really popular characters (Mettle, Niko) aren't really dead.

One popular character revealed to be not dead is a coincidence. Two is a trend.

Pretty much everyone guessed when the series was announced that the Braddock Academy characters were cannon fodder, and that none of the established characters would bite the big one... If it wasn't for the fact that the Braddock Academy is being used in a book outside of this series, i'd almost suspect that the Academy itself doesn't exist...

It does:
http://marvel.wikia.com/Braddock_Academ ... rth-616%29

Because of missing many of their students, the Braddock Academy had to cancel the soccer match with the mutants of Jean Grey School For Higher Learning. from: Wolverine and the X-Men #25

Then again, it's not like we have many other series highlighting Brits :P

I knew it was a "real" location, one of the Infinity tie-ins uses characters from it.. i was saying if it wasn't mentioned anywhere else or used in another book i'd have thought never existed, since those are likely the characters who will "bite it" in the end... sure there will probably be one or two established characters dieing, but i don't see many others.

Nico is relatively popular... She's been around for a while, and Marvel is potentially doing a Runaways movie...
