Also, is that Bradshaw art? Love me some Bradshaw.

As for the event: as long as Daredevil and Hawkeye remain unaffected, I'm good.

We all knew Pete was returning. It'll probably end in #25 or whatever arc the Spock fights the Green Goblin.

Excited that Nightcrawler is back. Yondu is around again for pretty obvious movie related reasons.

And yeah, we all knew SPOck wasn't going to be around forever.

Yeah, why can't he be more like Bendis and just look at old and recent comics for plots and concepts?

And I've been shitting on his David Mamet imitation for years, so don't roll your eyes at me or I'll show you what we used to do to kitties with bad attitudes in the backroom of the grooming shop.

They're peas in a pod labeled "overrated and unoriginal Marvel comics writers".

There's a difference between an "impression" and being inspired by someone.

Bendis by his own admission for years now and he's never hid this has said how big of a fan of Mamet's work he is. He even got to interview him for CBR a few years back.

So admitted that you're influence by someone who people can tell you're influence by is a bad thing?

I think you may be bitching for the sake of bitching here.

Create new Inhumans?

But, it's been established since around their initial appearance that they're a genetically engineered (by the Kree) human subspecies. Inhumans aren't created, they're born.

When the hell was this changed? :?

I think they are using the word "Inhuman" as a broader term to describe the humans who will be affected by the Terrigen Mists being released on Earth. Since there has been so much chatter about mutants lately, I think they just want to avoid using a phrase like mutated humans to confuse casual comic readers.

Hopefully that's the case. I don't think it's really the best way to describe things if that's the way things are going to be though. :smt102

This will be interesting to see if they tie the Inhuman factor to mutants. I wonder if both races will end up being allies or enemies in this arc?
