Scott Snyder's Accidental Deletion of Batman Script Leads to First Appropriate DC Editorial Rewrite in Ten Years

It's been 0 days since DC did something... goddamn awesome?

Source: Twitter

Mere moments after superstar writer Scott Snyder announced, via Twitter, his accidental deletion of 7 pages of his latest Batman script, DC editors responded by immediately handing over a rewritten verion of not only the lost pages, but the entire script from scratch.

"We already had it ready," admitted Editor in Chief Bob Harras.

"We've taken a lot of hits in the public, lately," said Mike Marts, Batman editor, and proud owner of the army of monkeys used to aid Snyder in his duties, "but I think a day like today shows last minute script rewrites are not the hallmark of ill advised, unecessary micromanagement, but  dedication to supporting our writers in their time of need and putting out great stories on a monthly basis."

"The general opinion about DC editorial is completely wrong," chimed in Dan Didio, advocate of the Infinite monkey theorem, as he wiped his keyboard clean of monkey feces and urine. "We're proud to get our hands dirty so our writers don't have to."

Bravo, DC.  Bravo.

And we, the Outhouse, would like to congratulate ourselves for posting a positive DC story in an age where there seems to be so few.  As a site owned and operated by trained monkeys, we appreciate everything DC Comics is trying to do.

For a life-long DC lover and corporate shill as myself, this day has filled me with pride.

This is not fair to monkeys themselves as the monkeys would do a better job of running DC than the current people there.
