Just read tvtropes on this and this movie sounds really fun.

My local theater only has two showtimes for the 2D version. Are theaters not showing this at the same number of screens as most other movies? Even White House Down had like 8 showings a day.

my only has 2 for the 3D showing. I think studios are finally realizing that people don't give a crap about that stuff.

Yesterday, I went to TRU to nab myself an G.I. Joe Eaglehawk and noticed that they had two whole rows of Pacific Rim merchandise. I went back an hour ago, both rows ALL gone. It has begun.
