I suggest entirely skipping the Villains month promotion. Those stories can't possible matter for continuity purposes, can they? If they're awesome, wait for the Omnibus or trades.

My total came to $500 this month. I'm too busy being stunned its gotten that high when I'm getting stuff at these discounts.

And next month (since the new order form is up) is even more and I'm not including a single trade. As usual, its all just regular comics. <shakes head>

Oh and I'll tell you now Midas: When the next order form comes out, you need to preorder the issue of Bleeding Cool magazine that's in there. They're not only giving away an exclusive Shadowman comic the ad seems to be saying they're doing a send away for Unity #1/2.

Yep. Works out even better for you because they're doing a promotional price for the issue at $1.99. And that's before the DCBS discount which could always go 50% off on it.

That is good since I'm over my (relative to you) miniscule anticipated budget for August already!

LOL sometimes I think I need a budget.

But I'd miss too much good stuff. It's time for DCBS to increase the discounts! :-D

Yeah, they haven't been doing the 75% off as often as they used to.

But I also mean increase regularly to 45% and bring IDW finally up to 40% (or even that 45%) like the rest of the front of the catalog. I look forward to the fact that Archaia's books should soon go to 35% off thanks to the BOOM merger but we'll see when it becomes official.

They've been doing Marvel and DC trades at 50% for a while now, so there's that. Works great for me. Less great for you, I guess. Also there's the 50% off Valiant Bundle! Thank you DCBS and VEI for making that discount work!

Oh yeah, IDW has been stuck at 35% for too long. I demand a 40% discount.

Meanwhile, here are the comics I just finished reading:
