My guess is.. coming out of rehab is one of the most likely times for a person to overdose, the whole time they were building their habit they were increasing the dosages to get high in most cases. Then they get cleaned up, come out of rehab, and immediately get sucked back in and consciously or unconsciously they think that their tolerance is roughly the same as it was before rehab.

On the radio up here, they pointed that out and suggest a connection.

Sounds like a Jude thread title.
"Why are you pointing your screwdrivers like that? They're scientific instruments, not water pistols."
"Oh, the pointing again! They're screwdrivers! What are you going to do? Assemble a cabinet at them?"
"Are you capable of speaking without flapping your hands about?"
""Timey" what? "Timey wimey"?"

Its definitely a possible reason, but its not the only reason, using drugs does cause you to have heart issues, so its possible he suffered a heart problem too...

Whereas I found it in bad taste, I also found it quite witty.

It had its intended effect with me reading the thread with a left feint only to be given the right uppercut to the jaw in the first post. All in all well played.
- Continuity is or it is not. There is no such thing as soft continuity.
- A character IS his continuity.
- Continuity is consistency of the characteristics of people, plot, objects, and places seen by the reader or viewer.

I'm a big fan of Glee and I always enjoyed Cory Monteith's presence. It's sad to see him die so young.
