I got a new dog almost 2 weeks ago. Just an adolescent puppy from a rescue, but he's real well behaved mostly
But his breath still smells like he's been eating garbage

Wow, tickets have gotten really expensive...although I don't even remember the last time I got one. That was the most expensive dog rescuing ever. I didn't expect "finding a lost dog for a neighbor" to buy me any lenience with the law, and it didn't.

Could be the food he was eating, buy a few of those green chlorophyll treats and see if it helps. A daily mouthwash rinse is a good idea too (not human mouthwash, stuff you can get from your vet called Dentahex).

Of course, I advocate the daily brushing of a dog's teeth, although I know to most new owners it sounds nuts. But some dogs are more prone to decay and gum disease than others, and after $2,000 in oral surgery on my last young rescue I became a convert!

I should brush Phife's teeth. I have enough trouble cutting his nails...

Just spent the afternoon with friends with kids. How do parents put up with all that poop?

Happy Saturday! Today, I am visiting a local smokehouse which is purported to have good beef jerky, and then I am hitting up an e-cigarette liquid store in Santa Rosa.
