I thought Peep Show finished after 7 seasons, I was awfully pleasantly surprised when season 8 popped up on Netflix last week (along with the previous 7).

Anyone? Peep Show? That Mitchell & Webb Look?

I think they're super funny, and Peep Show is everything that American sitcoms aren't currently.

Peep Show is incredible. My favorite game to play with fellow fans is asking them the moment when they realized they were Mark Corrigan. Tell me yours, and I'll tell you mine.

I think I'm a horrible mix of the both of them, taking each's worst traits. :|

I like David Mitchell. He's the second Most English Person in the World (after Stephen Fry, obviously). But actually, I've not seen much of Peep Show apart from the odd episode here and there. It's not that I don't like it, it's just that I missed the boat a bit and I don't really want to swim after it. Same reason I still haven't watched Mad Men or Breaking Bad, even though I'm fairly certain I would like them if I did.

He's always great on panel shows, as well:

Well you really should just do Peep Show, especially if it's easily available like it is here on Netflix. You really should.

I felt the same way about Mad Men and Breaking Bad, but finally thanks again to netflix took the plunge. I had to ffwd through the cancer bits, but Breaking Bad is worth the investment of time and interest but Mad Men is not.

With British shows, I'm just grateful to get some here and not have to hunt down the fucking dvds, but Peep Show is a rare kind of brilliance and I've watched seasons 1-7 several times each episode which is a rare thing for me to do.

There are so many things I should watch, I don't even know where to start.

I'd say I'm a mixture too, but I think anybody who is a nerd leans more heavily towards Mark than Jez. I admire Mark for the horrible, self-effacing ways that his brain works, but Jez gets some of the best lines in the series.

I'm English, of course I like them. We're a nation of Marks who think everyone else is a Jez.

I never really thought of Mark as the prototypical male Brit until now, but he is awfully Arthur Dent-y, isn't he? And a lot like several Brits I've known in real life as well, although they smoked more cigarettes.
