...if All Star Batman & Robin is in the same continuity as Dark Knight Returns? I haven't gotten an answer to that question.

The Old Doctor

Maybe.

I think you could see it fitting, but I would otherwise think of it as a separate continuity. After all, Batman Year One is not considered connected to Dark Knight Returns other than being Batman and written by Frank.

Didn't Miller sort of heavily imply that the three stories were the same continuity, and that he finally got a chance to show his version in his prime, instead of at the beginning and end?

That also means Spawn/Batman might be in continuity too, so let's forget I spoke.

Frank Miller said they were, what more could you ask for?

It's a crying shame we didn't get the rest of it.

Yeah!

I always thought they were all connected.

Yes, though that was great too. If it had continued to today, it would be better.

I think I remember reading that Miller considers everything he did with Batman part of the same canon. Like that in his eyes Year One is the origin of Batman for not just one continuity track but for many others, which includes the DRK Universe (and Batman/Spawn).

I think I also remember reading that he said that he considers Year One, All Star, and DKR a sort of trilogy.

Did they ever release the final six issues, the ones that were no longer All Star comics but changed the title to boy wonder or something like that?

Actually, I think it is, heh. I do remember reading that at the time it came out.
