I am planning to meet Louise Simonson at Fan Expo on Thursday. I was wondering if it's okay to ask her to sign books she edited but did not write. Is it weird to ask someone to sign a book they edited? Also, what about asking she and her husband to sign a carded Archangel action figure?

The figure would be good, but I personally would think books she edited might be a tad weird...

Have her sign your butt, then get it tattooed.

I've had editors sign books before (for someone like Julie Schwartz there weren't too many available other options).

I also had (editor) Jim Shooter sign an X-Men #137 and (then editor) Mark Waid sign his "Because I Demanded It" all-gorilla issue of Secret Origins.

Yeah, it's not like she doesn't have any comics she wrote. :P

Louise Simonson is one of those class acts in comics still. I love chatting with her every time I see her. Get her talking about Power Pack. :-D

It's a little odd, but as long as her name's on it, it should be okay.

Speaking of current DD writer Mark Waid, he drew me a Daredevil for my sketch pad once. 8)

Alas, I couldn't find Weezie on Thursday. Thanks for the replies (except yours, Jude).

That's cool! I have a copy of Sandman 8 signed by Gaiman, and he sketched a bit of Death on the cover.:)

If you have any written work might be good to mix up both edited and written, if anything, just for ego sake.

I once had Tony Bedard sign the issue of Hourman (that he edited) where Hourman and Snapper fight demons in a Day of Judgement crossover. He was happy to sign it and discuss!
