That's odd, Bridgecards (Michigan foodstamp system) is refilled once a month.

I'd expect the Foodstamp program is intended to be a supplement to your grocery budget.

its supposed to be, but with the cost of everything else in life for most people it IS their grocery budget. Heck i just had mine reduced from 189 dollars a month to 24 dollars a month because i got a job where i'll be making 900 bucks a month...

well i don't think so, as its only a part time job... so out of that 900 bucks i have to buy food, pay utitlies and live...

The proper title of the food stamp program is SNAP or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, so that is definitely it's intent even with full funding.

Lighten up. It was a joke. I realize how hard

1. it is to get a job when you don't have a job.
2. it is to put together a healthy diet on SNAP.

You know who's on SNAP, low wage workers such as Walmart employees.
