So, my Buddy sings opera at us when he doesn't like something Max does. Which is most of the time. I assume it's the dog translation of the Italian lyrics of Fiddy's latest opus "I gonna f*ck you up (in da club)".

He also reads; whenever I bring home books from the library, he wanders over and uses his nose to flip through them. He must speed read though, since he does this in no time at all. And he shows a distinct preference for Dortmunder novels...

And just a few weeks ago, I was having a nice fish stew, (yes, I'm aware the words "nice" and "fish stew" don't normally go together, but this time it did), when Buddy disappeared. I have a glass-top table, and I'd noticed he'd gone outside for a few minutes, so I looked under the table.

Being the sociable sort, Buddy had evidently decided that he would join us. And since we hadn't given him any dinner, he supplied his own. A very large rat. Right under the table, inches from our shoes.

So, seriously awesome dog!
