At first, he had no idea if they were ever going to let him out and then they attempted to brainwash him into their way of thinking. You can't be upset with him for wanting to blow off a little steam. The poor guy has been through enough!
I was not brainwashed. I was in DC detention for bad behavior.

Oh undoubtedly I'm splitting hairs. The things is though, I think people calling this an error are splitting hairs too. Hence why I think the humour here is a stretch.

It really wasn't all that different than you being locked in that room with Psivage, a tube of lipstick, and a jar of peanut butter.

Find me a scan when Kate is called Kathy. All I'm saying.

If he were speaking casually about Kate, one thing. When trying to impress upon people how much he supports and cares about this character, it's pretty goofy of him to flub the name. Not counter reset worthy, but certainly mockable.

I'm sure there isn't one, but in the end, that doesn't matter to what I'm saying. He can call either one Kate or Kathy. As long as the people he's talking to understand who he's talking about, what does it matter which one he uses?

Matter is questionable. It's funny because it perpetuates his image as a bumbling, Dilbertesque manager.

So neither counter gets reset. False alarm.

And I'm fine with you finding it funny for that reason. In the end, I'm just giving my opinion, and I found it nitpicky and a stretch. That's why I didn't find it funny.

That's all I'm saying

Yeah, Didio screwed up again so nothing new. However, this isn't worthy of a facepalm moment as I will save my stash of FP picks for something bigger which the Didiocracy will most likely mess up on.

I better be the first link sent too so I can bookmark it. Though I'd break it more than likely after a week or less.

Maybe somebody should give you one of these:

with a picture of Didio's face attached to it.

I think it's akin to referring to Aquaman as "Artie" or something. Sure, it's another name for Arthur... but you just wouldn't do it. Because it's not his name. And you wouldn't call the Human Torch "Jonathan Storm" either. Sure, it's a form of his name... but his name for all intents and purposes is Johnny.

These characters have shortened names for distinct reasons. And when you've got two characters with basically the same name, that distinction is even more important.
