Let me know. I'm going hunting tomorrow for a Harley at some of the local shops. I got the 2D but the 3Ds are purty.

About 10 minutes after the books hit the shelf one store in Calgary was charging $20 for the Harley cover. When the nice lady asked me if I wanted one I said there was no was I was paying 5 times cover price for a comic less than 10 minutes old.

I went to another store and bought it at cover price.

Two things.

1) a comic shop selling the book the day it's out for more than cover price isn't actually a case of comic book "speculation". It's more like what you would call price-gouging. For a legitimate comic book shop with regular customers, kind of a dick move. But then, DC it the one who set them up for it.

2) it's mainly collectors and/or people who couldn't get the covers they wanted, again thanks to DC, who are paying over-cover price for them. There really isn't any secret cabal of speculators who imagine 3D covers will be a good long-term investment, most especially not if they're already paying 10-50 bucks for them. All you have to do to realize that is look at the price of most New52DC #1s now as opposed to when they debuted with more demand than supply.

From what I saw, about 30% of comics shops marked them up to some degree, even just a $1, on the day of release. These covers appeal to the collectors.

I'm willing to spend more for the 3d cover just cause they're neat but not in much more than $10. I figure it'll go back down when the eBay speculation wears off.

I've had to spend to fill in some blanks (Suicide Squad 6 when I added the title to my regular pull, Catwoman 13 when I found out it was DotF)

What's been blowing my mind is how my Detective Comics #1 is still going for? That book was crap.

I placed an entire small press comics order off of two Harleys.

Joker's Daughter is already around $50 before release.

Were Harley's tits always so massive? It's not the 3D, they are way bigger than a D cup on that cover. I'm not trying to make titty jokes, semi-serious question. I would have pegged her for a 34 C.

$50, feh!

$130:

There will likely be none of these in shops, I dunno if I'll even be able to find one.
