I never thought LoK was as good as the original series, but, this episode was an interesting premiere.

Agreed, I didn't think anything in LoK Book One was anywhere near as good as the original series. This first episode of Book Two though, if this is an indication of how this season is going to be, then I think they are on to something of greatness!

WTF is this rank?

The first half of LoK was pretty weak, but I thought the second half, particularly the finale, was up there with the original show.

I definitely think this season starts out stronger than last but it does have the advantage of not having to set the character and world up.

I liked LoK a lot but it's not as good as ATLA. I didn't think it would be though because Avatar is probably on of in not the best animated kids/family shows of all time. Any sequel is just fighting an uphill battle.

It was really good but Korra was extra bratty. Because of that I was more interested in Tenzin and his family. Did they say what his sister’s name is?

The villain was pretty obvious, I was hoping they’d swerve us at the last second. But it’s still a good dynamic.

Also, the crazy millionaire was super fun.

His sister is named Kaya after Katara and Sokka's mom.

I just watched the second episode and I have to say I think some of the themes are a little too serious for a kids show.
