Kelsey Grammer to Be Expendable in Expendables 3

Because our hearts have been begging for a cold-hearted Republican who can lower taxes, brutalize criminals, and rule you us like a king to be cast in Expendables 3.

Source: Kelsey Grammer Joins Beefcake Brigade in ‘The Expendables 3?

Deadline is reporting the actor, is in talks for a role in the movie originally intended for Nicholas Cage. He would be playing a former mercenary, who just so happens to speak German thus prove that no one who speaks German could ever be an evil man. This is also the second time Grammer has got himself into a film series by the third film. He was cast and one of two bright spots in X3: The Last Stand (2006). Will lightning strike again?! When asked about being cast for the role, Grammer had this to say:

And just look how happy he is.

No word yet if his arch-nemesis, the common rake, will also feature into the movie resulting him being hoisted on his own petard. Regardless, if his nemesis is not cast; Grammer will be joining a VERY illustrous cast that includes: Sylvester "I Charge $400 for an Autograph"  Stallone, Jason Statham, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren and Wesley Snipes (WRITERS NOTE: a Demolition Man reunion with Snipes and Stallone? I'm there!).

Expendables 3 will be out sometime next year, audiences shall see Grammer woo us to heaven, before Michael Bay sends us to hell with him cast in the lead human villain role in Transformers: Age of Extinction. Until then let us reminisce with Grammer against his oldest, yet greatest of foes: THE RAKE!!!

Between this, X3 and his upcoming role in Transformers, his resume's certainly looking... more action packed, I suppose.

Nicholas Cage is out? And they still can't get Kurt Russell. Double fail. I'll still watch it though.

This. And while they're at it, why not get Michael Dudikoff? Or Carl Weathers? It'd be great to see him in another movie with both Stallone and Arnold...

Weathers has beef with Stallone nowadays. So he ain't ever showing up. Dudikoff, I dunno.

Apparently something to do with allowing footage of his Apollo Creed character in Rocky Balboa from what I understand. Apparently Weathers wanted to be in the film but was turned down so they used some guy who looked like him to portray Apollo in a flashback.

Now I have to think up some Frasier jokes for Expendables 3 as well. Dammit, Kelsey is making me work overtime in the humor area with the movies he's currently starring in.

Apparently Bruce Willis is also out as well and the notion of getting Steven Seagal anytime soon ain't happening I'm afraid.

But that's due to an executive producer, not Sly.

Wow, apparently Stallone has a little problem with being a dick. Maybe it's all the HGH... :smt102

If they make a 4th Expendables movie I hope they find a way to bring back Bruce and Mickey Rourke's character as well. I also hope they can find some way to get Seagal onboard at some point if the franchise continues.
