That may be due to Jurgens style but he does a fairly good job of keeping the pencils clean and crisp throughout this issue.
Lobdell also does a nice job of gathering up the plot hints and random flashbacks we've seen during "H'El On Earth" and weaves them together into H'El's origin story. As we suspected, H'El's back-story is not quite what he told everyone. The bigger surprise is that he wasn't completely lying. His history is what he believed, or made himself believe ... despite what actually happened.

The ending has an unexpected twist as H'El
[Reveal] Spoiler: Click to Expand
"Wolverine's" Krypton's time-line ( :P ) and decides to make the future into something more beneficial to himself.

This makes the upcoming "Krypton Returns" arc more clear and possibly something a bit more to look forward to.

Gene Ha took some artistic license with the pants on the cover. :D They're actually more like Superman's but not as armored.

I really wish they would just retcon this character right out of the DCnU. I can't stand H'el.

I thought the only point of the name H'El was to lend itself to story titles like "H'El on Earth"
