In a nutshell, Marvel. All I get from them is essentially Icon and Ultimate books. That's it. Occasionally there's a Marvel Zombies mini (or in the upcoming case a George Romero zombie mini) and right now books they do for the ABC TV shows and now apparently (though still no one's admitting they're doing it and why) books that normally would come from Legendary Comics. |

I'm really liking some of the Marvel Now books--particularly Young Avengers, FF (but not Fantastic Four), X-Men Legacy, Hawkeye and Daredevil--basically the stuff that's off the beaten path a bit with strong creators (usually both writers and artists). I'm also looking forward to the Brian Wood's X-Men book, which can hopefully be enjoyed without too much continuity context (which I definitely lack). |
