![]() The show will be based on the Hayley Atwell short that appeared as a bonus feature of the Iron Man 3 DVD. Source: Deadline A few months ago, we reported on the Agent Carter one-shot film, which follows Peggy Carter after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger and paves the way for Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. Well, now Deadline is reporting that Marvel is developing the show for TV, though that's the extent of the info as there is no writer attached and it's unclear whether Hayley Atwell will reprise her role. That's not gonna stop the comics media from publishing approximately 8,000 articles about it before we know anything else though, so we figure we better get ahead of the game and start spreading some rumors. ZOMG WHAT ROLE WILL JOSEPH GORDON-LEVITT PLAY IN MARVEL'S AGENT CARTER TV SERIES?! Here's a clip from the one-shot film:

If they do it, it really should be an HBO type series on an HBO type channel. | ||

Yeah but that's only one at the moment. I meant on an overall basis where Marvel is making several movies and shows consistently. |

Marvel's last live-action TV show was "Blade" that ran for 12 episodes in 2006. Before that was "Mutant X" that ended in 2004. |

Actually, a series that juxtaposed adventures of Sharon Carter in the modern day with those of Peggy in WWII might be interesting. Especially if their missions ended up being intertwined in some way or the other. |

I could actually see Disney starting up a Marvel-centric cable network in the future. |
