I just read Busiek's Superman: Shadows Linger and wasn't too enthused. Will give New Krypton a chance in trade.

I can count on one hand the number of Superman books i have read so I am not that much of a fan... but I am interested in the Johns/Frank origin mini coming up.

52 or kingdom Come? Try that one comic Siegel and Shuster did where Superman left earth to go date the gorilla queen of Antsepothia-23.

I've tried picking up superman every now and then, but after All Star Superman, I always seem to think "hmm...Morrison did this same think better and it only took one issue..."

New Krypton is good, and I don't mind Mon-El at all, but, I have to question the strategy of not having Batman in Detective and not having Superman in Action over a long period of time.

Ugh. Don't remind us.

I think the Superman books are good but having Clark leave again is retarded.

I agree, and Punch said it earlier as well. We just got through with a year without Superman (and Batman for that matter), why do we have to go through it again.

Still, the books themselves are enjoyable.

Hey, maybe in Final New Guardians, they can explain why Jet was around in Green Lantern when she died before. :x

And we could see if Extrano is still gay as a goose. :D

I might actually pick up Action Comics because I'm interested in where Mon-El's story is going.

I keep hearing the comparison to Death of Superman, but I don't understand it- He's right there in World of New Krypton.

You want to continue reading about Clark and don't care for Mon-El, Guardian, Nightwing, Flamebird, etc. just pick up World of New Krypton and pretend the title of the book is Action/Superman. Can't Pretend? cut out the title from an old issue and paste it on the World of New Kryton...

The funny thing is that considering we're talking about comics in comics time, this probably all happened over a year. At most.
