I've never seen The Mindy Project, I actually like her though. (that doesn't mean the show is any good, of course)

Creatively, I find Mindy Kaling to be extremely hit or miss with the Mindy Project being a definite miss. Basically whether you agree with her or not, Mindy is going to spend 22 minutes each week telling you how cute, witty, and desirable she thinks she is and that's pretty much it.

I like the Mindy Project even though it isn't great or anything. I just...have a huge crush on Mindy.

To each their own...but...

...perhaps that has something to do with why LobsterJ enjoys the show and I don't.

She is kinda cute, but I've seen hotter Indian women.

Herald's right, there are many prettier Eastern Indian women but she won me over in an interview on the radio a couple years ago during a long drive. I've never seen the new show, though, like I said. :smt102

She doesn't look like a "Mindy" to me, though.

Turns out her birth-name is actually Vera.

I was just reading that ratings on her show have dropped a lot this season.
