Sutter has said this already actually and that killing Toric was because Donal Logue is going to be on season 2 of Chris' new favorite show, Vikings. So it just had to happen.

Dammit. I knew there was a reason. I wish he lasted a bit longer. He was so built up at the end of last season and the start of this one. Then it's all over.

After falling a little behind on watching this show, I finally watched "Poenitentia" this morning and I must say that it was a massive improvement over the previous 2 episodes this season. I admit, I was on the fence about continuing to watch this series but "Poenitentia" definitely bought SoA a few more episodes in my book.

It took 6 seasons of annoying, reoccurring appearances by Drea de Matteo but they may have finally found a way to make Wendy slightly interesting. I don't know what game she is trying to play here but with an illegal handgun in her possession and a history with drug abuse, she needs to be careful. All Gemma would need to do is make one anonymous phone call and the Wendy problem would be solved. That might be part of Wendy's plan though because we now know that her story about an abusive guy from AA was bullshit and her "bruises" were nothing more than make-up.

I still have no interest in Jax's "relationship" with Colette. With everything else going on right now, it feels rushed and out of place but damn if I didn't love the scene where Jax creepily watched Colette and Barosky in the act. Double points for making eye contact with Robocop. Hopefully this little incident will crush Jax and kill any potential interest in Colette for the future. Speaking of Barosky... ...shit Peter Weller is still a bad ass. I was really hoping that the entire torture porn story line would have been wrapped up but if they are going to spread it out, Peter Weller's Barosky will be a welcome addition for it's duration.

Man, Tig just can't catch a break can he? I hope he makes it out of this but I really can't see a way out of this particular situation for him. Even if he does make it out, what kind of future does he have now? He's got to know that Jax gave him up.

Finally, we already knew that Toric is one sick individual but I can't believe the stuff he is willing to do to get his way. Clearly, he is no better than the people he is trying to bring down. To be honest, I would be a little surprised if this story line doesn't lead to a reintroduction of Assistant U.S. Attorney Lincoln Potter. We need a character who is less morally gray and I really feel like Potter's story line was never properly finished.

Holy Shit this season has truly hit it's stride with the last two episodes. Guess it's time for the Sons to go to war.

For all intents and purpses, I finally caught up and I completely agree. Unfortunately, my DVR didn't record a majority of the ending of "Wolfsangel" and I am finding out that I missed quite a bit. Apparently, I missed Clay slipping Otto a shiv to kill Toric, the Sons taking revenge on the Nazis and framing them for the guns, and a secret meeting between Tara, Wendy, and Tara's attorney. It's amazing how much better SoA gets when they drop the goofy plot points and just stick to the meat of the story. The ending of "The Mad King" caught me by surprise almost as much as the Sons themselves.

Really enjoyed last nights episode, it was great to see things finally go the Sons way for change. Was pleasantly surprised to see Juice finally grow a set and man up. He's made a ton of stupid and cowardly mistakes over the last few years and seeing him go all "cowboy" as Jax put it was really cool, still a little stupid but at least it all worked out in the end. Bobby's revelation had to be the best part of the show for me though, so happy to have that plot line resolved the way it did, that was fantastic. Glad that the Sheriff of Charming stays consistent, he is probably the least stupid and annoying of all the authority figures that have passed through the show, and he maintains a level head and sense of good like none of the other have. He's trying to keep Nero safe because he believes him and he is trying to steer the DA clear of making a huge mistake but unfortunately she seems determined to make that mistake, and she will and this shit with Toric is gonna blow up in her face and ruin her credibility and career. This will probably play a lot into getting Tara off as well, and honestly she is the one thing on the show that I continue to dislike the most. I know she is doing what she thinks is best for the boys but the way she is doing it just really bothers me. All in all great episode with a bunch of cool shit happening for the Sons once instead of everything continuing to get shit all over.

Roosevelt is the character I root most on the show now with Opie gone from last year and now Phil this year. He knows full well Toric framed Nero now. The writing is on the wall that this case is gonna blow up in the DA's face for fully listening to Toric. I just wonder how badly.

Walton Goggins is amazing.

This week's episode was a lot of fun, it was good to see the Sons smile for once.

Before this season did they mention Nero was a member of the Byz Lats? That's two gangs from The Shield that have appeared here now.

Wonder if they'll introduce the Horde....they were pretty much a huge roaming biker gang that hit towns for a big score them and moved onto the next one.

Oh boy the shit is about to hit the fan!!! I was already disliking Tara, but now I am down right starting to hate her. I know she is doing what she thinks is best for the boys but damn she is putting a whole lot of other people in the firing line along the way. Wendy is definitely gonna get it, and probably Unser as well and thats a damn shame. Hopefully his pussy whipping will kick in soon and he'll let Gemma know what Tara is really doing.

Glad to see Rat-Boy got voted in, it was long overdue! The Sons working out of an Ice Cream shop now is pretty fucking hilarious!

Yeah this season really turned me on Tara, but then again is Gemma truly an angel either? Dang this club fucks you up even not being part of it.

That was one of the most depressing episodes of SoA I think I have ever seen. Couple weeks of things looking up for the Sons and now we are back down to everything going to shit. Glad Nero got out of jail but this story is far from over and I still don't think his future is very bright.

The second half of this season is infinitely better than the first and "Huang Wu" was an exceptional episode but Tara's downward spiral is becoming almost unbearable to watch. She went from being the most sympathetic character on the show to being just as terrible, in some cases worse, than the people she is trying to get away from in only a handful of episodes. Sorry I just can't find it in me to forgive this character for faking a pregnancy and a miscarriage. As much as I hate the pairing of Jax and Colette (it's gross for all kinds of reasons), how am I supposed to feel bad for Tara when she walks in on them after what she has done to Jax and their family?

Later on, when she was yelling at Jax and asking what happened to her, the only thing that I could think of was that Tara literally started all the gears in motion that led to this. She returned to Charming with a sociopath, ex-boyfriend in tow, knowing full well that Jax would protect her. When Tara shot her crazy ex, she called Jax to help her. She started herself down the path that she is on.

What's funny is that even after everything that she did, I don't believe for one second that Jax would allow anybody to hurt her.
