Batman himself, Anthony Ruivivar, revealed the news via his Twitter that the animated show will return January 2014.

Source: “Beware The Batman” Removed From Cartoon Network, January 2014 Return Scheduled

To the displeasure of some, it is now fully confirmed what we reported on a few days ago:  Beware the Batman won't be returning with any episodes, at least not until January 2014. Today on Twitter, the voice of Batman on the show, Anthony Ruivivar, tweeted this:

As for the question of why Cartoon Network pulled the show? World's Finest contacted Cartoon Network and was given this answer:

"Currently Beware the Batman is no longer on our air. Fans can still enjoy Teen Titans Go! and new exclusive shorts on Saturday mornings.”

As noted by this reporter, this sort of move was used just last year on both Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series. Not soon after both shows were not renewed by Cartoon Network. So far, as per World's Finest production on Beware the Batman is still ongoing. The other possiblity and question that'll come next is will the episode that would have aired this weekend "Attraction" be released on iTunes (as it happened with the two shows)?

Stay tuned as we keep you updated on any further developments.

Pretty sad when the actors are the last to know what's happening with a show.

Yeah, just because they claim it is coming 'back' does not mean it is back for good as this is CN.

CN never claimed it'd be BACK. CN never claimed ANYTHING about it.

The actor playing Batman said there'd be "new". Could just mean there's unaired eps to burn before they can it.

Besides, since when do actors know what the fuck is going on?

Like when the voice actor for Bart Allen was the first to say: Young Justice was canceled. :P
