Yeah, Dan and the Gang supposedly lasting this long only means that the Outhouse reporters and "me mate, Richard" aren't digging deep enough.

But back on topic: I agree that Plastino should get his art back, if only so that he can personally make sure it goes to a museum this time.

And next we'll find out that it was actually DC who assassinated JFK.

But then we'd lose count if we kept up with all their bungling.

And probably run by aliens, has Jimmy Hoffa's body and a lot of other things meant for a sci-fi tv series. :-D :-D :-D

Sheesh, can DC go one moment without being assholes to their writers, staff, artists and so on? Rhetorical question by the way.

At least the art still exists. The artwork for Dan Dare, one of the greatest British comics ever created (the proper original one, that is, not any of the crap re-makes) SHOULD have been locked away in a vault and used to produce cheap paperback volumes of the complete stories which should have been kept in print forever, like Tintin.
Instead the boards ended up being stolen from an unsecured store-room, or rescued purely by chance from a skip one day. The only reprints of Dan Dare are occasional, incomplete, re-shot from comics printed in the 50's and published at a prohibitively expensive price by Titan. A company tied up with some American outfit called, er, DC.
