So it's out now.

That spoiler from above? Yeah, it's there. But that's pretty much all we get to see about that.

I thought we were going to find out more about that Batman spoiler that DC dropped on us over the summer... but I guess that's next month.

I was under the impression that his identity was supposed to be revealed in this issue. Still, this was a strong issue. Evil Superman unleashed all types of hell against the "wonders" of Earth 2 and it was very apparent that Earth is completely unprepared to deal with him.

Even though there wasn't much to go by in the actual issue, having read it I am interested in this turn of events and I am interested to see where it goes. I love the fact that this series is really playing with the concept of what it means to be an different Earth within the DC Multiverse.

Great read, and surprisingly - despite Robinson leaving the book - the world didn't end! New writer seems to be going at the same pace Robinson was as well. Anyone notice the Joker at the end?

His little cameo was the perfect way to emphasize exactly who and what is down there. I can't wait to see what the Batman of Earth 2 is up too.

the series looks and reads fine .. but I still look at it and think 'elseworlds'
this could have been a great counter-point to the original JSA... had they not thrown out that baby with the bath water. I would have enjoyed seeing those two teams meet.. but alas, that's not to be

There's nothing wrong with that. Like I said earlier, this series is really playing with the concept of an alternate Earth in the DC Multiverse. Earth 2 is like a really good Elseworlds story that doesn't end after 2 or 3 issues. It keeps getting better and it keeps flipping ideas that you think you know on their heads. After the last 2 issues, it's crystal clear to me that anything can happen in this title and I am ok with that because of how consistently good it has been since the very first issue.

Eh, it's like a 90s Image, no worse, no better. Slightly higher death toll, that's all.

Hey, I may not like the costumes that some of the characters are wearing in this series but comparing it to 90's Image is a low blow! :smt011 :P
