I would say they are undoing the "can't play games without internet connection" deal that they initially created.

Dunno about the truth of all this. Didn't check the tweets...

Xbox One pre-order arrives early, user reportedly banned

By Megan Farokhmanesh on Nov 09, 2013 at 12:00p @Megan_Nicolett

Twitter user Moonlightswami received an Xbox One ahead of its Nov. 22 launch date and has since posted several images of the system and its dashboard online.

According to Moonlightswami, the system takes "about 15-20 seconds" to boot up, and the Twitter user was able to download the system's required day-one patch. Although systems like Netflix and Hulu were unavailable, Moolightswami claimed to be only able to download Killer Instinct. NBA 2K14 is apparently a 43GB download, while Call of Duty: Ghosts is a 39GB download. FIFA is only 8GB, while Madden is 12GB. According to Moonlightswami, games are playable after the download is about halfway finished.

Moonlightswami posted an unboxing video on YouTube, which was removed by Microsoft shortly after. The Twitter user also claims to have been console banned. According to a tweet from Microsoft's Major Nelson, the ban "will not be permanent. I can say that with 100 percent certainty." We have reached out to Microsoft and Moonlightswami and will update accordingly.

At least three pre-orders have apparently been delivered early, with one console briefly turning up on eBay.

Nintendo might have had a horrible release last year, but right NOW, they're the only company with next gen games I want to play.

Next year will be a different story.

When the next MonolithSoft game comes out?

Yea, I saw all that happening on reddit and youtube as the guy got the xbox.

But, You have completely confused me here man, I'm lost.

My article says XBox needs a day one patch to work - the link you posted says guy who got XBox Early was able to download patch. So what exactly isn't truth?

I understand that they may have made a lot of changes to the UI since it was shipped, but I don't understand why it was shipped without the ability to play games.

Maybe they made a mistake and won't admit it.

I'm not sure as I wasn't a witness. IF the guy is telling the truth, the day one patch was available to him and was a 500MB download.

Yea, I'm still not getting something here. It may be going right over my head, but that doesn't contradict anything I said. I said it would need a day one patch, he said he got one. (Assuming he got all of it and it won't grow before official day one release).
