We're nerds, we know the book already, we should be listening to other nerds, because why should we care what the average movie goer thinks? We aren't the average here, because we have prior knowledge.

It's like a review of a Bond Movie by someone who's never see a Bond movie before, and they're complaining about him not being hit by bullets, or just fucking the girl and leaving her, and the villains being ridiculous, as fans, we know that their review is not aimed at us.

Fuck the studios. They are a bunch of ignorant shitfaces. Somehow, these fuckers can take a good thing and make it into shit. For example, Dark Knight kicks ass at the box office and all the studios can take away from it is that superhero movies must be dark to succeed.

No matter how Watchmen does at the box, the studios are gonna find a way to parley it into some new shitty trend.

And critics are just gonna say, "Oh another superhero trend movie, bleah."
