![]() This probably won't get you as pumped as the Daredevil writer news from earlier. Source: Deadline Yes, she was attached as writer to a Jessica Jones tv pitch a few years ago, but according to Deadline, she is going to be executive producer and writer for the new Netflix show as well. Melissa Rosenberg is probably best known as a screenwriter for Twilight, which probably won't win over as many fans as the Drew Goddard news from earlier today, but she did write for Dexter as well, if that helps. The news has yet to be officially confirmed. Now we only have to find out who will be handling Iron Fist and Luke Cage. Not even trying it? I’m going to try it but for me the character is more of a turn off than the writer. She adapted a shitty book to a shitty movie, was there any other possible outcome? ![]() Since they’re going with street level heroes with they’d gone with Punisher instead of Jessica Jones. But then I can’t see him teaming up with the others. |

Well, the character was what initially made me want to skip this show. I don't hate Jessica Jones but I'm not really interested in a show revolving around her. The addition of Rosenberg simply reinforced my initial response to the show. Out of her entire resume, there are only a handful of episodes of Dexter that were any good and most of those weren't even that great. ![]() |
