Looks to maintain the spirit of Roberts MTMTE book despite the crossover with the banter

I agree, he's one of the best of IDW's TF guys. Picking up Deaths Head from that UK Marvel crossover solely because of his art.

Artists like Roche are the big missing factor I keep mentioning about Dark Cybertron. I loved the first issue and I think a lot of that had to do with having a quality art team on the book (and having an artist like Griffith who has really grown on me didn't hurt). As much as I like James Raiz's return to Transformers art, he's been the only high point in the last two issues... and the fact that his art is so different from Milne and Roche and that he's handling the Lost Light crew just gives me this disconnect between story and art.

So, yeah... more quality artists on this crossover would help. :smt026

A new writer instead of Barber would help as well.

While I prefer Roberts, Barber has gone a long way to clean up IDW's Transformers continuity. Robots in Disguise is a pretty good sister title to More Than Meets the Eye. It's a good time to be a Transformers fan.
