Not a fan of the art style, especially the faces.

It was a bold decision to use Channel 6 news reporter, April O'Neil but now I am confused. Is the 1987 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series a part of the DCnU or is this part of a dynamic new intercompany crossover? :smt017

Yeah, Aaron Kuder's art can be very hit-or-miss. Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's like Frank Quitely totally hung-over

This issue was FANTASTIC. A terrific story with a great twist. I implore everyone to give it a go as it's the beginning of a new storyline and a perfect jumping on point for Action Comics.

The flashback of Clark's heat-vision moment was very striking. 8)

From what I recall this is where that new villain who looks like Mongul shows up and is revealed to be the master of the monster. I saw some previews of this issue awhile back.
