Go on, you know you wanna do it. Make a bet, name the title. Hell take a guess or go look up the sales charts and make a call on it.

Imagine if we make the calls.

When does the "Bet on which Marvel title gets rebooted with a needless renumbering" contest start?

Willingham announced a ways back that these titles were ending once Fables hits #150.

The difference being Marvel cancels then reboots most of those (sometimes raising the price in the case of Fantastic Four and Daredevil).

So let's see... I'm guessing most stuff in the < 20 k range could be on the chopping block. This would include:

The Movement
All Star Western
Batwing
Larfleeze
Birds of Prey

Now, Trinity of Sin: Phantom Stranger is in that range too, but DC has such a huge amount invested in the Trinity/Forever Evil shit that I can't see them letting it go.

The Movement may be safe for a little while because DC doesn't want to piss Gail off, but it's not even selling 10k so sooner or later they're going to have to pull the plug.

And Batwing has survived for like a year with crap for sales, so I dunno what makes him immune, but maybe he won't get nailed either.

Also, I didn't put Superboy on there because, well, I just can't see DC canceling it no matter how much its sales suck. Canceling a big-name title like Superboy would be tantamount to admitting their New 52 is not working the way they'd like. Then again, the canceled LSH, which is arguably an even bigger-name title. (At least historically, for a long time LSH was one of their top sellers.)

I would not be surprised, though, if most or all of those are not around come the next big September Event.

Gotta be The Movement. Dan and the Gang already dumped its fraternal twin, the Nu-Green Team.

Numerically, those should be next.

But again, Batwing has lasted for a while with dismal numbers. And The Movement would've been canceled already if it hadn't been for Gail. So we will have to see. My guess is, Gail has already been told if the numbers don't pick up soon, it's gone... which would be why Batgirl is guest-starring in it in March.

That's not gonna make me pick it up, though. I love Gail's stuff ordinarily, but I am just not on board with the Movement.

Batwing and Larfleeze I know nothing about, other than that they aren't selling. Larfleeze is new but Batwing's been in the dumps for months. What's keeping it afloat? Anyone know? Is it someone's pet project?

Probably would've already been canceled if Gail Simone wasn't writing it.
