Hey I want people surprised instead of expecting. It means more hits when I post the winner. :-D

All I'll say is here are the top 5 so far via Company:

1.) Marvel
2.) DC
3.) DC
4.) Image
5.) Marvel

#5 moment in particular surprises me. I thought it was an alright moment (and it's something I nominated myself) but I didn't even vote for it in the polls. :smt102 Though #1 is beginning to look like it'll win if voting trend keeps up. There's a 7 to 1 difference now between it and the #2.

Though I will spoil the fact that is one of the nominations that doesn't have ANY votes. Anyone want to take guesses? If any guesses correctly I will PM the results. :-D

Ah man, if I knew that, I would have voted for both Superior Foes moments.

This week's moment has been added to the poll. Also you can vote again because PollDaddy won't stop it.

Yeah every Wed, Poll Daddy will allow those who voted before to vote again. I'm assuming that's why one moment is slowly inching closer to the #1 spot.

I don't even know why we bothered with it this year then.

 What am I supposed to do? Just leave it open for a week and not give a fair chance to any? Then again the moments that are winning are winning BECAUSE they resonate well with fans. They are moments that made our jaws drop and be shocked.

I'm actually being very fair like I was last year (even if it was my first year running it). If I added the ability to see the results then those who use this additional week could spin the polls. Instead the poll is going in a natural direction. Moments that are popular are winning. Moments that aren't, aren't. If you don't like the results you have a right to bitch. But until there's a better poll option for the front page, I'm using Poll Daddy (free version).

I'm just saying it's less transparent, and less than exciting last year.

What's the point of doing it if it's no longer taken seriously.

It also seems to me it's fair more difficult to spin a poll by creating multiple accounts then it is for everyone to be able to vote more than once.

Doesn't help the front page. Whether it's multiple votes or not this years polls have tripled in votes than last years which had the option of voting repetitively without even the week limit. Least that's what I think was the problem with last year's. :smt017

I don't really see how helping the front page has anything to do with the poll being worth paying attention too or it's transparency.

Well it's the biggest moment of the year. Shouldn't it be handled differently then the others?

No it ain't Aquaman!! :P No it's a moment that I didn't nominate but I can fully see from DC why it would be Moment of the Year material. It started out like #8 when voting started but slowly has eclipsed and beaten all but the two top moments and it's on the verge of surpassing it's DC counterpart.
