Because Larfleeze is cool and a nice change from the usual seriousness of the rest of the Lantern Corps. I'm surprised that this didn't catch on more since it had many qualities of the Giffen/DeMatteis JLI/JLE series.

I'd never pick it up based on the character alone. Cool? No...it's the same reason I never asked for a G'Nort book in the 80's. Fun in (very) small doses.

Here's something that caught my eye. Of all the previews I've posted since Fri morning this one ranked #3 in number of views. Of just the DC previews posted in that same time frame this one ranked #1. That might suggest that Larfleeze generates some type of interest.

I guess that's a good question. Do folks look at topics about titles that hold no interest for them ? If so, why ? Boredom ? Curiosity ?

I think it would have been better if Larfleeze had been a mini-series as I never seen this as a long term title.

Can't even figure out why the character exists at all. Meanwhile at Marvel, there's a team with Punisher and Deadpool. There's comedy gold right there.
