Had a chance to sit down and read issue 28 last night. I was worried about the pace that this issue would take after the dramatic reveal from the end of the last issue but it looks like I was worried for nothing. Lemire didn't let up at all. Ollie is obviously in denial about the identity of the man claiming to be his father while they are still under attack from the Shield Clan. It seems like Ollie begins to come to terms with the truth but that doesn't mean that he is willing to forgive and forget. While this is happening on the island, Lacroix attends a gathering with other members of the Outsiders including the Spear Clan's Golgotha and the Fist Clan's Onyx. Golgotha chastises Lacroix, even going to far as to call him out for not being an actual member of the Outsiders since he is not in possession of his clan's artifact. Lacroix turns the tables on Golgotha however, as he launches into a monologue that ends with Onyx stepping up and defending Lacroix from Golgotha's attack, dramatically shifting the power structure of the Outsiders it would seem.
Meanwhile, Diggle returns to introduce himself and recruit Henry and Naomi in order to help him deal with everything that is happening in the city in Green Arrow's absence.
This series just continues to be one of, if not the best series currently being published by DC.
